Rapid Prototyping

Forefront Medical
utilises rapid prototyping technology to shorten the product development iterations, thus accelerating the pace to product launch.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) uses a laser to precisely provide the additional heat required to
bind nylon (rigid or semi-rigid) or steel powder into a solid structure.

Selective Laser Sintering

(SLS) can provide for conformal
cooling lines in tooling inserts with space and profile constraints.

Photopolymer prototyping
generates superior model
quality with intricate feature
detail. Part thicknesses of 0.3mm
are easily achievable.

A synergy of conventional
machining and SLS rapid tooling
provides added flexibility to tool
design and manufacturing.

Components made from
glass-fibre nylon can be used
in a cleanroom environment.
The materials conform to
USP Class VI.
